Professor Paxson,<br><br>Could you give an example in class of an entire communication system, starting at application layer of the source and then ending at the application layer of the destination, describing everything that the packet of data does or goes through in the middle? I'm sure you were planning that anyways, but I think a good overview of all the concepts and layers in one particular example would be great reinforcement.
<br><br>Also, I found TCP/IP to be confusing (namely the assigning of addresses and how the source and destination know of those addresses.) Thanks.<br clear="all"><br>-- <br>Pavan
