 It's used to figure out what the local IPs are, which in turn is used to
 determine whether the script is running on the manager. If you see nothing
 that's obviously failing, you should be fine.

 > Annoyingly, this is the case here. On Linux,  `/usr/bin/env bash` is not
 a login shell and hence does not source `/etc/profile`, which usually
 extends `$PATH` with the various `**/sbin` directories.

 Hmmm…. Perhaps broctl should just add */sbin to its standard PATH in any
 case.
