Understood :), though I'd thought his effort was for evaluating the
merits of various proposals on common agreed-upon configurations, not
for debugging the implementations which should hopefully be done well
before the trials used for comparisons. Debugging requires checking a
lot of scheme-specific cases, loss patterns, and edge-cases ... if the
desire is to make a debugging checklist, this doesn't even scratch the
surface.
Lachlan's point that LT-TCP and others might behave differently at low
rates is a better reason, and I buy his argument.
