Log message:
	Changed the route metric space from 16 bits to 32 bits so
	it can accomodate larger routing metrics.
	E.g., the IS-IS Traffic Engineering extensions (RFC 3784)
	introduce the so-called wide metrics that are 24 bits.
	
	Note that the protocol admin distance is still 16 bits,
	though in practice even 8 bits is sufficient.
