Edrt,

For now we don't have plans to implement PIM-DM. The primary reason
for that is because majority of the multicast world is using PIM-SM
(or at least is moving towards PIM-SM).

Only if there is strong demand and/or good reasoning for PIM-DM,
then we may add it on our agenda. Though, don't expect to see it
implemented anytime earlier than release-2.0 (at best).
