Hi,

Ghazan> I started compiling it on an Ultra5 (debian linux). Seems
Ghazan> to be going well, but it wont do OSPFD, I'll try to force

    Ghazan> only RIP2, OSPF and BGP4.

We have never tried building on an Ultra5 (debian linux) system. XORP
does build on Redhat Linux. We have never tried building on an Ultra5,
we don't expect any byte order problems as we have run our regression
tests on a PowerPC running Mac OS X. I wouldn't expect the OSPF to
build; the OSPF is a port of John Moy's OSPF and only builds on
FreeBSD. We are in the process of writing our own OSPF that we expect to
have available 1st Quarter next year.

Ghazan> Is there a way to statically compile? I didnt find a list of
    Ghazan> autoconf arguments except --disable-ipv6 which I used. I'm
Ghazan> trying to avoid libc, busybox is static in the image.

I'm not sure that I understand your question static compilation is the
default.

       Atanu.
