I've just attached a proposed fix to bug 263: RIP - configuration help formatting.  It updates the help strings to:

create protocols rip interface eth0 vif eth0 address 172.16.0.50 ?
Possible completions:

  accept-non-rip-requests Answer RIP requests made from non-RIP processes
  advertise-default-route Advertise default route on address
  authentication  Authentication method
  disable         Disable RIP on address
  horizon         Horizon type applied to routes announced on address
  interpacket-delay-msecs Minimum delay between outbound RIP packets
  metric          Cost metric added to routes received on address
  passive         Set address as receive only
  route-deletion-secs Route deletion interval after advertised as unreachable
  route-expiry-secs Route expiration interval in the absence of updates
  table-announce-max-secs Upper bound of route table announcements
  table-announce-min-secs Lower bound of route table announcements
  table-request-secs RIP request interval when no known neighbors
  triggered-update-max-secs Upper bound of triggered update announcements
  triggered-update-min-secs Lower bound of triggered update announcements
