[Xorp-hackers] How to test the working of RIP on stand alone computer system

Hi all!

I want to test the Working of XORP RIP on my computer system (Linux
plateform)
So plz tell me that, is it possible, if yes then plz write the steps to be
taken in order to 
perform this test.

Also plz tell me that, can we compile 
this XORP source code on RTlinux,VxWorks,e-cos.
if yes the how?
