[Xorp-hackers] About compile with snmp!

Hi, all

When I compile Xorp with snmp, I have something wrong.
The error information is follow:
/usr/bin/ld: ../libxipc/.libs/libxipc.a(hmac_md5.o): relocation
R_X86_64_32S against `a local symbol' can not be used when making a
shared object; recompile with -fPIC
../libxipc/.libs/libxipc.a(hmac_md5.o): could not read symbols: Bad value

My OS is Debian. Net-snmp version is 5.4. How can I resolve it, please?
