Well, it works better for me.

We've tested OSPF, RIP, PIM-SM, and BGP successfully.

We have also used VRRP, but only connected to other Xorp
routers and only on Linux.  So, it may have issues talking
to other systems.

In general, Xorp can be difficult to properly configure,
but if you configure it properly, it can work.
