I have therefore upgraded the rsync server the the latest version (version 2.6.2 protocol version 28). The best case is that your current clients will continue to work. If your clients fail you know why, sorry:-(. Atanu. No obvious problems with the slightly older client I'm running: aardvark.cs.ucl.ac.uk: rsync --version rsync version 2.5.7 protocol version 26 Cheers, Mark From edrt@citiz.net Tue Jul 27 12:56:25 2004 From: edrt@citiz.net (edrt) Date: Tue, 27 Jul 2004 19:56:25 +0800 Subject: [Xorp-mirrors] cvs and ml not mirrored Message-ID: <200407271147.i6RBlFWr024705@wyvern.icir.org> Hi all, I could not visit www.xorp.org here. But I could visit www2.xorp.org. But it seems that the cvs web interface and mailing list archive are not mirrorred. Any technical reason not mirror that? The CVS archive itself isn't currently mirrored, so mirroring cvsweb would require mirroring the CVS archive. I'm not sure we want to do that. The mailing list archive is not on a machine where we currently have access to run rsync. The reason for this is that we want it on a machine that has full-time (nearly 24/7) sysadmin support, and none of the mailservers we could run rsync on would have that. But really there just doesn't seem to have been a need so far.
