Hi

I suspect this post by Atanu (2004/12/02) to the xorp-hackers list
answers your question.

We have never tried building on an Ultra5 (debian linux) system. XORP
does build on Redhat Linux. We have never tried building on an Ultra5,
we don't expect any byte order problems as we have run our regression
tests on a PowerPC running Mac OS X. I wouldn't expect the OSPF to
build; the OSPF is a port of John Moy's OSPF and only builds on
FreeBSD. We are in the process of writing our own OSPF that we expect to
have available 1st Quarter next year. "
