Short answer: no.

Longer answer: normally connected routes win on admin distance. 
Metric can't override admin distance.  Thus this would only be a
relevant issue if you had more than one interface connected to the
same IP subnet.  In all other circumstances, it would not have any
effect anyway, even if you could set it.  Is that the scenario you're
concerned with?
