[Xorp-users] Using BGP Test Harness to dump mrtd file

Hi,
I have an instance of XORP running on a machine (say host1) with
multiple BGP peerings configured on it. I would like to use the BGP test
harness on the same machine (host1) in a way such that, one of the test
per from the test harness establishes a peering with the BGP of the XORP
instance that is already running on host1 and dump routes from an mrtd
file to it. (I'd like to do this for load testing purposes). I read a
previous thread
http://mailman.icsi.berkeley.edu/pipermail/xorp-users/2005-May/000564.html
on a similar topic, but would like to know if it is possible to use the
test harness to test a different instance of XORP_BGP itself on the same
host instead of a third party BGP. If so, could some one guide me on how
to go about setting up the harness to perform it.

Also, in the thread that i have linked here, it was mentioned that the
BGP that is to be tested has to be configured to accept a peering from
the test peer, but I was wondering what IP address needs to specified as
the test peer's peer id in the configuration of the BGP that needs to be
tested.

Thanks
Santhosh
