[Xorp-users] Interface & port mgt in Xorp.

Hello!

Is there any way to tell a running Xorp (OSPF) server to change the IP
of a port
without restarting Xorp? Maybe a SIGHUP to tell it to re-read it's
config file or similar?

I am considering a very dynamic network where routers will
be logically changing their network connections. For instance, start
with R1-eth0 connected to R2-eth0
but later change R1-eth0 to connect to R3-eth2 (on a different subnet).
I would like the routers
to deal with this gracefully and re-establish the OSPF routing tree(s)
for the affected link quickly.

Also can ports be added/removed to/from a running Xorp configuration?

Thanks,
Ben
