[Xorp-users] Config Settings before starting XORP

Hi,

I have a basic doubt about the configuration of the Ethernet card before starting XORP. Should I preconfigure my ethernet cards with an IP address and subnet mask through 'ifconfig' commands or does xorp enforce the IP address set in the config file ?
