[Xorp-users] Not able to run XORP:

Hi Sanjeev,

 

I myself am new to Xorp ( less than 2 days using it) so take my inputs
with lumps of salt.

 

 I have seen a lot of tasks with name xorp_xxxx (like xorp_igmp etc)
keep running if xorp_rtrmgr dies or is killed using CTL-C /CTL-D/CTL-/ (
stop, quit, kill ). My solution is to check for such tasks using ps -ef
| grep xorp and then kill those tasks using killall <taskname> before
starting rtrmgr again.
