All,
We have pim neighbors between a Juniper m10 and a generic unix box (GUB)
running
XORP. The Juniper is the rendez-vous point (RP). The GUB sources a
transmission,
which is visible across the RP. What is being noticed is that the
transmission stops after
210 seconds - predictably. The pim logs from the downstream side
include the folowing:
[ 2007/09/24 12:43:56 TRACE xorp_pimsm4 PIM ] RX WHOLEPKT signal from
MFEA_4: vif_index = 3 src = 138.236.128.60 dst = 233.67.82.80 len = 1344

rface toward the RP (146.57.248.194)

The last message is interesting but may not have any significance.
Any ideas?
Cordially,
Frank
