Whilst getting XORP to work as an NT service would be desirable for a 
number of reasons, it isn't technically possible at the moment without a 
high degree of refactoring, and would be unlikely to appear as a feature 
until well into the XORP 2.0 train.

There are ways you can parcel up single commands and run then as NT 
services. I know OpenVPN uses this approach. Unfortunately XORP is a bit 
more complicated than OpenVPN.
