1. Configure the router to be in at least two OSPF areas, where at least 
one of them isn't a stub area. See chapter 8 for examples.

2. Configure an external routing protocol, and redistribute routes into 
it using the "export:" directive. See Chapter 10 for examples.

See section 8.3.1 of the user manual, which contains an example of the 
"virtual-link" directive.
