[Xorp-users] Debian packages of Xorp 1.5 (+patches) available

[ Hopefully this is useful for some Xorp users ]

The recent stable release of Xorp (1.5) is now available in Debian's
'unstable' distribution, replacing the CVS-based released previously being
distributed. The Debian v1.5 package includes some fixes that have been
introduced after the release, such as a fix IPv6 multicast issue that
prevents MLD from running in Linux kernels 2.6.26 and above.

The Debian 'testing' (aka 'lenny') distribution is currently 'frozen' in
preparation for the next Debian release, which means that no changes in
packages are currently introduced in testing (from unstable). However, the
Debian release team members have approved this version for Lenny so that it
will be included in the next Debian release. Jolly!

Needless to say, the Debian maintainers would be very grateful if users
tested the Debian packages and reported any errors in the Debian Bug Tracking
System.

Happy hacking!

Javier
