Hello,

I have been successfully using Xorp to perform PIM-SM multicast routing within our network. I recently deployed a new Linux system that uses 802.1q sub-interfaces, and I am having a problem with the Xorp mfea.

If I start Xorp with a minimal configuration that includes only the interface defenitions, it starts fine. But as soon as I add an IGMP or PIM interface, I get this error

[ 2010/06/30 13:21:39 INFO xorp_rtrmgr:13238 RTRMGR +101 module_manager.cc execute ] Executing module: mfea4 (fea/xorp_fea)

I did some searches, but couldn't find anything conclusive. Is there a known problem with Xorp mfea and sub-interfaces?

Thanks,
