Hi all,

When I run xorp 1.6 I always get a message related to pimsm4:

WARNING xorp pimsm4 PIM ] JoinDesired(*,G)=true; RP for group
239.255.255.250: not found.

I read that the multicast address 239.255.255.250 is used the Simple Service
Discovery Protocol (SSDP) protocol to discover network services.

I'm trying to config this scenary:

Source -> XORP1(RP)  -> XORP2 -> XORP3 -> XORP4 -> Member

Source(eth0): 192.168.2.10/24

Xorp1(eth0): 192.168.2.20/24
Xorp1(eth1): 192.168.3.10 (RP)

Xorp2(eth0): 192.168.3.20/24
Xorp2(eth1): 192.168.4.10

Xorp3(eth0): 192.168.4.20/24
Xorp3(eth1): 192.168.5.10/24

Xorp4(eth0): 192.168.5.20/24
Xorp4(eth1): 192.168.6.10/24

Member(eth0): 192.168.6.20/24

Routes

- Xorp1 has one static route to destination 4.0 and next-hop 3.20.
- Xorp2 has one static route to destination 5.0 and next-hop 4.20.
- Xorp3 has one static route to destination 6.0 and next-hop 5.20.
- Xorp4 has one static route to destination 6.0 and next-hop 6.20.

Xorp has enabled: igmpv3,pimsm4,mfea,fib2mrib and one static route in each
xorp.
Each xorp have in their config the static RP part (192.168.3.10).

do I need to be worried about the warning or the config is fine?
