The answer is probably somewhere in the bgp/* code, but I don't have time
right now to look closer.

You might try some recursive greps to see if you can find anything.

You might try google as well...likely that info is defined in RFCs
somewhere and hopefully xorp already adheres to that.

I'll take a closer look later this evening if I get a chance.
