Please make sure you are using top-of-tree, not 1.8.3.  I just fixed a bug earlier today
that broke multicast routing in many cases on Linux.  But, not sure if that is what is wrong in
your case or not.

Please let us know which version of xorp you are using and what OS/kernel.
