There are lots and lots of problems with trying to use
vifs of different name than the interface, as I previously
posted.

I also posted my suggestions for allowing auto-created
vlans (extend interface config options, not add more vifs).

Long term, seems to me we should just remove the vif idea entirely
and put the things under vif in the interface instead.
