We ran some tests here, and IPv4 multicast routing is working for us.

Except that on route-flap, we are seeing a crash in xorp_pimsm4.  We hope
to have that fixed today as we need it for our own product.

Also, you might try making sure that your VLANs all have unique
MAC addresses.  I'm not sure that is required, but often it helps
with subtle issues.
