I tried again, to run xorp_rtrmgr first. Close that terminal. And open another terminal to run xorpsh. It can work. I saw "Welcome to XORP on yangqqh-desktop"
Is it correct process?
But one more question. I cannot use configure mode....
BTW, the system doesn't have dc0 interface. I have changed it to eth0. Thanks a lot.

Thanks,

Yang

On Sun, Jul 26, 2009 at 12:13 PM, Bruce Simpson <bms@incunabulum.net> wrote:
Hi,

I wrote a configuration file. And I checked online. Someone suggest to use empty config.boot. I tried both of them. They didn't work. I still got that information I showed you last email.
I tried the command you suggest me to do. There is no process listen on port 19999. How to fix it? Thanks a lot.
Which platform(s) are you attempting to run XORP on?
Are you building from source, or using a distribution's package or port?
Are you trying to run XORP from the compilation directory?
Does your system have a dc0 interface?
