It's not very important but something we should probably still add. Daniel, mind taking a look? I think all we need here is an additional piece in expire-logs that removes from stats/stats.log all entries older than X, with X large by default like maybe  year. 

Btw, I've also always wanted to visualize the data in stats/, it's already in parseable form. :)
