I don't recall anything specific that's broken about the script debugger.  I did a couple minor improvements to it a couple years back, but was also generally able to use it at least for simple tasks.  Regardless, I guess the ticket should remain open w/ emphasis on creating regression tests for the debugger -- I don't think many people use it so would be easy at the moment to break it completely and not be aware of it.

> Vern commented a while back that the debugger is currently broken in Bro.  Let's get it working again and tested.  If someone feels like fixing this up for the 2.1 release we can certainly bump it forward but I'm going to target it at 2.2 for now.
