[Bro] Bro install problems on linux

I recently installed bro on a 64bit Fedora Core 3 box.  I'm using
bro-0.9a9.  Unfortuneatly this is my first time trying to setup bro,
and compiling and installing is about as far as I have been able to
get.  The bro_config file doesn't seem to autodetect the networks I'm
listening to.  If I use the default configuration it segfaults, the
only way to get anything out of it is to comment out the @load tcp
from the default host configuration.  Trying @load udp instead just to
get something also causes a segfault.  Anyone have any ideas on this?
