[Bro] I am not getting the report on my email id

hello sir,
As i set my email id on $BROHOME/etc/bro.cfg
log files are created but  I am not getting the report on my id. so  just
unable to do the analysis part of the report. I am also unable to know  how
can I understand the particular attack by seeing the report. Is there any
link which can describe "how to detect attack??"
