[Bro] Installation Issue

I am getting a Dependency is not satisfiable:  libc6(<2.12) error message.

I have run the required dependency:
sudo apt-get install cmake make gcc g++ flex bison libpcap-dev libssl-dev python-dev swig zlib1g-dev libmagic-dev
But I have version 2.17

Can someone assist me with this?
