[Zeek] Zeek Webinars and CTF's for the next 2 weeks

HI all,

If you haven't had a chance to check out the events link on the zeek.org
website yet, I wanted to take a moment and draw your attention to the
following events that are happening over the next two weeks.

facilitating/emceeing these upcoming ZEEK FROM HOME and the ASK THE

+ TODAY - (10 June 2020) +

before on scripting, especially if you attended the 2018 BroCon (now
ZeekWeek).  Aashish has revised his 2018 Zeek Scripts – 101 to 595
presentation and will be sharing that today from 2-3pm EDT today.

* ZEEK COMMUNITY CTF - 4-6pm EDT - Whether you're an experienced threat
hunter or you're just getting started this Capture the Flag (CTF) is a
perfect place to learn about ZEEK and solving for threats using Elastic,
Splunk, CLI and more.  It's a fun, relaxed environment where you can ask
questions and engage 1:1 knowledgeable instructors and compete for bragging
rights and a $100 Amazon Gift Card.

+ TOMORROW - (11 June 2020) +

* ASK THE ZEEKSPERTS - 3:30-4:30pm EDT - with Doug Butks (
https://www.linkedin.com/in/dougburks/) Typically the Ask the Zeeksperts
events are not recorded and meant to be a bi-weekly "technical office
hours" where you can bring your Zeek or topic related questions and get
help or clarification.  However, due to popular demand, this one however
will be recorded and will be Part 2 of Doug Burks Security Onion
presentation from 27 May.  (If you missed Part one you can find out more
about it at:
Doug will be summarizing Part 1, giving a demo and taking your questions.
So bring your Security Onion related questions and join the conversation.

+ NEXT WEEK - (15 - 19 June 2020) +

* ZEEK FROM HOME - 2-3pm EDT - with Robin Sommer (
https://www.linkedin.com/in/robinsommer/).  Robin will be presenting on
SPICY the new parser generator which makes it substantially easier for Zeek
to support and parse new protocols and file formats. If you'd like to learn
more about SPICY ahead of the presentation check out the announcement post

If you're already using SPICY and have questions, please join the
presentation and share your experience so far this includes the good, the
bad and the ugly.  Your feedback is vital to improvements.
