Yes good way but some points about all the things 
should vlan-tagging not called encapsulation or something like that, so it
would be possible to say we run pppoe, ppp, pppoa, hdlc, frame-relay or
dot1q on the line, maybe mpls tagging. Most of this things are only valid on
special lines and or concurent each other, so it would be possible to have
one way to configure all things.  

Yes please shorten the name of the vif. ;-)
