Comment:

 This is done by scripts/policy/misc/trim-trace-file.bro which is loaded by
 default on the workers.  It works fine for me with and without broctl.
 You can configure the rotation interval (default remains 5 minutes) with
 the TrimTraceFile::trim_interval variable.

 I'm going to close this ticket.  If you are still having the problem, go
 ahead and reopen.
